CERIUM SALTS

Cerium Salts (IV) (also known as Ceric Salts) are orange red or yellowish, whereas cerium Salts (III) or Cerous Salts are usually white or colorless. Bio – Chem  Cerium Salts include AR and Extra pure grade Sulphate, Nitrate, Chloride & Oxides of Cerium. Cerium oxide is an important component of glass polishing powders and phosphors used in screens and fluorescent lamps. It is also used in the “flint” (actually ferrocerium) of lighters and is a catalytic converter for the oxidation of CO emissions in the exhaust gases from motor vehicles.
